Last month, Hovione Capital together with i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde, awarded its International i3S-Hovione Capital Healthcare Innovation Prize to NeuroQ, a wearable device to assist physicians performing Deep Brain Stimulation, a surgical treatment for Parkinson's Disease.
This device has already been validated in 80 patients at Hospital de São João in Porto, Portugal.
